UMass Amherst has a hybrid “hub and spoke” model for Career Services. The Career Development and Professional Connections office(serves as the “hub”, while career centers across campus serve as the “spokes”. This structure provides major-specific career content knowledge to students while also providing efficient, “one-stop” service to employers who are looking to engage with students across disciplines.

UMass Amherst’s Intergroup Dialogue Initiative aims to create spaces for dialogues across differences on our campus around issues that are critical and relevant to our community; build campus-wide capacity among faculty, students, and staff to facilitate intergroup dialogue.
